Dear Mr. Edgemon,
We thank you very much for allowing a number of your students to assist us in our day-to-day operations yesterday. It was a very productive day--they bagged a ton of beans and 600 pounds of coffee. Through the efforts of citizens like these young people, our ministry can be much more effective. Our ministry, of course, is to help feel the needy of the Northeast Texas area.
We do appreciate your effort toward assisting in this ministry.
Again, thank you very much!

Dear Mr. Edgemon,
Thank you for allowing your students to participate in the Four As One project at Carter Blood Care's Stewart Center on December 4th. A special thanks to the wonderful group of students from your school-they were delightful to work with and they did an excellent job of organizing and scrapbooking numerous news clippings and photos about the blood center. Their hard work is thoroughly enjoyed by the staff of the blood center, as well as the many volunteer blood donors that will visit the blood center and have a chance to read these historical articles from the past.
The Four As One project is such a great way to introduce your students to volunteerism and the blood center is proud to have been a part of the projects of this year. We look forward to participating again next year!
Happy Holidays to all the faculty and students of All Saints Episcopal School!
Sincerely, |

Dear Mr. Edgemon,
I just wanted to thank you again for sending us such a wonderful group of young men to assist us during the "Week of Caring". They accomplished a great deal of work that would have taken our staff several days to complete. With their help, these tasks were finished in a matter of hours! We sincerely hope that the students were able to walk away with some valuable information from their time spent in our office.
You will be happy to hear they were respectful and well-behaved the entire time they were in our office. You should be proud of these students as they represented their school well. Thank you again for remembering us and all of the help this great activity provided to MADD East Texas.
Sincerely, |

Dear Kyle,
Many thanks to you and your group for adopting a Salvation Army Kettle this year! The $1,149.26 that your kettle raised this season not only supported our Christmas programs, but will help sustain our budget throughout the year and allow us to continue the many programs that we offer to those less fortunate in our community.
Your generous donation of time has done much more than just help the Army. It has reached the parent who has lost a job, a child who is hungry or a family living on the edge of poverty. You have allowed us an opportunity to share encouragement with the disheartened and bring hope back into their lives.
Those who are struggling are also the ones whose eyes light up with gratitude when they discover that a special friend cares about their phlight! And their happiness is a reward unlike any other.
Thank you again for your compassion towards others and believing in the mission of The Salvation Army. I hope that you will be excited to ring the bells again next year and in the years to come! I wish for you peace, joy and prosperity in the New Year!
May God richly bless you, |
